Privacy Policy

Who We Are

Persimmoney is developed and operated by Prism Apps LLC. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you use the Persimmoney app, how we use it, and what rights you have over your data. By using Persimmoney, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Persimmoney is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

What Information We Collect

Account Information
When you sign in, we collect your email address. We use this solely to authenticate your identity via a one-time passcode (OTP) through Supabase Auth. We do not collect your name, phone number, or any other personal identifiers at sign-up.

Expense and Financial Data
When you log an expense — whether manually or by scanning a receipt — we store the data you enter or the text extracted from the receipt image (merchant name, amount, date, category, payment method, and any tags you add). Receipt photos taken or uploaded through the app are processed for text extraction only. The original image is not stored on our servers.

Budget Data
Any budget amounts and category limits you configure in the app are stored on our servers and associated with your account.

Device and Usage Information
We do not collect analytics, crash logs, or device identifiers beyond what is necessary to operate the app.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To create and maintain your account
• To sync your expense data, receipts, and budgets across sessions
• To display your spending history, dashboard insights, and budget tracking
• To process your subscription through RevenueCat
• To respond to support requests you submit through the app

We do not use your financial data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the app's core functionality to you.

Third-Party Services

We work with a limited number of third-party service providers to operate Persimmoney:

Supabase
Your account data, expense records, and budget data are stored on servers operated by Supabase, hosted in the United States. Supabase acts as our data processor and is bound by data processing agreements that restrict how they may use your data. You can review Supabase's privacy practices at supabase.com.

RevenueCat
If you purchase a subscription, your purchase is processed through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify subscription status. RevenueCat may receive your anonymized App Store subscriber ID and subscription state. RevenueCat does not receive your email address or expense data. We do not share your personal information with any other third parties. We do not sell your data.

Data Storage and Security

All data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmitted between your device and our servers. Supabase provides row-level security and access controls to ensure that your data is only accessible to your own account.

Your Rights and Choices

Access and Correction
You can view and edit your expense data, budget settings, and account information directly within the app at any time.

Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen within the app. Once deleted, your account, expense history, receipts, and budget data are permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered.

Data Portability
If you would like a copy of your data before deleting your account, please contact us through the support option in the app and we will fulfill your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Subscription and Billing

Persimmoney offers optional paid subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. All billing is handled by Apple. We do not store your payment card information. Subscription management, cancellations, and refund requests are handled through your Apple ID account settings. RevenueCat is used solely to verify and manage your subscription status within the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you within the app. Continued use of Persimmoney after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
