Who We Are

Persimmoney is developed and operated by Prism Apps LLC. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you use the Persimmoney app, how we use it, and what rights you have over your data. By using Persimmoney, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Persimmoney is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that a user under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.

What Information We Collect

No account required
Persimmoney does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address, name, or phone number. We do not operate servers that hold your financial data.

Financial data stays on your device
Everything you enter or that the app derives — receipts and their scanned contents, budgets, income, debts, assets, portfolio holdings, subscriptions, goals, insurance records, retirement plans and your personal balance sheet — is stored locally on your device. Receipt photos are processed for text extraction on-device.

Optional iCloud sync
If you enable it, your data syncs between your devices through your private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit). This data is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and is not accessible to us.

Optional market data
Portfolio quotes are optional. If you connect a provider, prices are fetched directly from Finnhub, Twelve Data, or Alpha Vantage using an API key you supply. Your key is stored in the device Keychain and is never included in exports. Requests go from your device to the provider — the symbols you look up are visible to that provider under their own privacy policy.

Device and Usage Information
We do not collect analytics, crash logs, or device identifiers beyond what is necessary to operate the app.

How We Use Your Information

Because your financial data lives on your device, we use it in only one way — to power the app's features locally:

• To display your net worth, dashboards, budgets and personal balance sheet
• To run debt payoff and retirement projections on-device
• To sync your data across your devices via iCloud, only if you enable it
• To process your subscription through RevenueCat
• To respond to support requests you submit through the app

We do not use your financial data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the app's core functionality to you.

Third-Party Services

We work with a limited number of third-party service providers to operate Persimmoney:

Apple iCloud (optional)
If you turn on sync, your data is stored in your private iCloud database operated by Apple. Apple acts as the storage provider under its own privacy commitments; we cannot access your iCloud data. See apple.com/legal/privacy.

Market data providers (optional)
If you configure portfolio quotes, your device contacts Finnhub, Twelve Data, or Alpha Vantage directly with your own API key. No financial data beyond the quote symbols you request is sent.

RevenueCat
If you purchase a subscription, your purchase is processed through Apple's App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify subscription status. RevenueCat may receive your anonymized App Store subscriber ID and subscription state. RevenueCat does not receive your email address or expense data. We do not share your personal information with any other third parties. We do not sell your data.

Data Storage and Security

Your financial data is stored on your device, protected by your device's passcode and operating-system encryption. Portable exports (.persimmoney-safe files) are encrypted with a passcode you choose before they leave the app. Optional iCloud data is protected by Apple's security controls, and any connections to market data providers use HTTPS/TLS.

Your Rights and Choices

Access and Correction
You can view and edit all of your data directly within the app at any time.

Deletion
Because your data is stored on your device, deleting the app (or using the in-app data reset) permanently removes it. If you enabled iCloud sync, you can delete the synced copy from your iCloud settings.

Data Portability
You can export all of your data at any time from within the app — as a portable archive or an encrypted .persimmoney-safe file protected by a passcode you choose. No request to us is required.

Subscription and Billing

Persimmoney offers optional paid subscriptions managed through Apple's App Store. All billing is handled by Apple. We do not store your payment card information. Subscription management, cancellations, and refund requests are handled through your Apple ID account settings. RevenueCat is used solely to verify and manage your subscription status within the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you within the app. Continued use of Persimmoney after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
